EGUSD high schools ready for fall theater season

Dim the lights and open the curtain – its fall theater season once again at Elk Grove Unified!  The following high schools are presenting productions during the fall season:

Cosumnes Oaks High School’s theater students will perform “A Flea in Her Ear” on November 7-9 and 14-16.  Playwright Georges Feydeau’s wild and hilarious comedy is filled with mistaken identities, motives and actions.  Raymonde, wife of Chandebise, suspects her husband is having an affair.  When she receives “evidence” of his infidelity, she decides to catch him in the act.  In reality, Chandebise is a good and faithful husband and Raymonde’s plot backfires, which leads to chaos.  Showtimes start at 6 p.m. on November 7 and 14, 7 p.m. on November 8-9 and 15-16 and a matinee performance starts at 2 p.m. on November 9 and 16.  Tickets are $8 general admission and $6 for senior citizens, children under 10 and students with an ASB sticker.
