Elk Grove, CA -- Todd Morgan kicks it at "A Musical History of the Blues" with his performance of Jerry Lee Lewis's "Great Balls of Fire." This 22-year-old Carmichael artist is also the show's Musical Director who plays around town with his band, the Emblems.

Elk Grove -- Enjoy a spectacular FREE concert "A Musical History of the Blues" on Saturday, July 13, 7 p.m. at Cosumnes Oaks High School, 8350 Lotz Parkway 95757. Featuring local musicians playing our favorite blues songs -- starting at the beginning of this genre through today -- this concert is sponsored by the City of Elk Grove with FREE admission for everyone! Lightning Boy Kory Gibbs -- the talented teen from Amador County -- is featured performing a Stevie Ray Vaughan blues classic. Comedy Under the Stars Series Headlines  Cash Levy on July 12

The Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) and Sacramento’s Laughs Unlimited take it outside again for the annual Comedy Under the Stars series on Friday, July 12, at Laguna Town Hall (3020 Renwick Avenue).

CSD’s popular Comedy Under the Stars series is in its second of three special outdoor comedy shows.  On July 12 Cash Levy headlines and the show will feature Tristan Johnson with host, Dylan Cole.

Cash Levy has made his mark all over the world with his comedy act by performing for U.S. troops from Afghanistan to Singapore.  He has been seen on Comedy Central, Fox Sports, NBC, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS), Comics Unleashed, Comedy TV and the Hollywood Improv. 

Bruce Dixon Does "Amanda"

Sacramento -- Bruce Dixon sings his acoustic arrangement of Boston's immortal love song, "Amanda." Buce is opening for Lightning Boy Kory Gibbs -- the astonishing 13-year-old lead guitarist from Amador County -- for a one-night performance with the Thundering Blues Band at Sutter Creek Theater on Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m.
