Title (Max 100 Characters)
Relay Teams will cover 150 miles placing American Flags and biographical cards for all CA fallen service members at every mile from Laguna/Elk Grove to the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon.
- In an apolitical reflection of remembrance a team of 34+ Active Duty runners, two Active Duty medics and many other Active Duty, Retired (Military), Reserve, Veterans, Gold Star Families, Blue Star Moms, Green Nights, Patriot Guard Riders, and Community Leaders and Businesses will embark on a 150 mile journey to honor every California service member who has fallen during or as a result of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, AND NEW DAWN.
- At each mile, the Run Team will place an American Flag with a personal biographical card for each California service member who has fallen. Each mile ran and each flag saluted is to pay homage to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and to their families left behind. Our intent is to create a 150 mile long memorial trail through California.
