Final Comedy Under the Stars Show Headlines Kermet Apio | Community
Elk Grove, Calif. – The Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) and Sacramento’s Laughs Unlimited take it outside for the annual Comedy Under the Stars series’ last show on Friday, September 7, at Laguna Town Hall (3020 Renwick Avenue).
This outdoor performance is one of CSD’s popular events as it rated in the top three in the 2012 Best of Elk Grove’s category, Best Places for Adult Fun. The evening will headline Kermet Apio, feature Ace Guillen and emceeing the event will be Mike Osborn.
Kermet Apio was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and in 1989 he made his first debut at the Comedy Underground in Seattle. He was awarded for his talent in 2009 at the Great American Comedy Festival and was a winner at the Seattle Comedy Competition. Kermet is not a stranger to the limelight as he has made his mark on numerous television and radio shows through the years. Kermet has performed in 47 states and 3 Canadian provinces and has also showcased at numerous comedy festivals including in Apsen, Las Vegas and Vancouver. He enjoys his family, baseball, and pie.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. This show is suitable for adults only. Bring a picnic dinner, blanket and jacket. No high-back chairs. No pets permitted, except for service animals. Seating opens at 6:00pm. Show starts at 8:00pm.
