Police look to ID pair involved in Elk Grove armed robbery | Crime
ELK GROVE, CA - Maybe someone will recognize the hoodie sweatshirts two men wore as they robbed an Elk Grove business Tuesday evening.
Elk Grove police spokesman Officer Chris Trim said California Sun, a tanning shop at 8465 Elk Grove Florin Road, was held up at 6:48 that night.
One of the men who entered the business had a handgun and ordered employees to open the cash register, Trim said. Employees complied and the two robbers took money from the till and ran off on foot. No employees were hurt.
Witnesses described the man with the gun as African American, in his mid 20s with a light complexion. He was about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build. He wore a black, hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the chest; gray jeans; and black and gray athletic shoes with white soles. He had a baseball glove on his right hand.
