Laugh Under the Stars with Comedian Jimmy Burns, July 13 | Events

The Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) and Sacramento’s Laughs Unlimited take it outside for the annual Comedy Under the Stars series on Friday, July 13, at Laguna Town Hall (3020 Renwick Avenue).

The July event will be the second show for CSD’s popular Comedy Under the Stars outdoor performances.  The evening will headline Jimmy Burns, feature Anderi Bailey and emceeing the event will be Michael Calvin Jr.

Jimmy Burns’ act covers school life after having taught ten years of elementary school.  You are bound to get a kick out of the experiences he has had from being a teacher.   Jimmy also talks about marriage, divorce, being raised Catholic, how our perspective of life changes and how it can all be quite funny!  Jimmy has toured nationally with Brad Garrett, George Lopez, Arsenio Hall and Richard Jeni. He currently emcees at The Legendary Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, CA.  He also hosted “Show Me The Funny” on the Wealth Network, co-hosted the radio show “Live from Here” on The National Lampoon Comedy Radio Network, and has appeared in TV commercials.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.  This show is suitable for adults only.  Bring a picnic dinner, blanket and jacket.  No high-back chairs.  No pets permitted, except for service animals.  Seating opens at 6:00pm.  Show starts at 8:00pm.
