CSD’s Hot Summer Nights Concert Series Returns | Events
Elk Grove, Calif. – The sounds of summer are back! The Hot Summer Nights Concert Series returns each Friday in August at Laguna Town Hall (3020 Renwick Ave) from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. The series is presented by the Cosumnes Community Services District with support from the City of Elk Grove.
Voted Best Place for Live Music in Elk Grove in 2010 and 2011 by Elk Grove Online, this FREE series returns with an eclectic musical lineup:
August 3: Harley White Jr. Orchestra – Jazz & Swing
August 10: Superlicious – 80s tunes
August 17: Chris Gardner Band – New Country
August 24: Safety Orange – So Cal Beach Rock
August 31: Gary Mendoza Band -- Blues
Food is available for purchase from local food trucks and vendors. Children’s activities and other concessions will be offered at varying costs. An ATM machine will be on site for your convenience.
Be Aware…The series introduces a new blanket policy this year that affects those “super early birds.” No blankets or lawn chairs will be allowed in the amphitheater before 4 pm. Items placed before 4 pm will be removed by CSD staff. And while music soothes the savage beast, no pets are permitted, except service animals.
The CSD and Elk Grove Police Department reminds residents that the 10:00 pm city curfew for minors will be enforced during this event. And, for safety reasons, Alvin and Amy Bartholomew Park, located southeast of Laguna Town Hall, will be closed beginning at 5:30 pm on each event date.
