 EGUSD to hold 21st Annual College & Career Fair

The Elk Grove Unified School District will host its 21st Annual College & Career Fair from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Pleasant Grove High School. 

The College & Career Fair will feature representatives from California State University and University of California campuses, private universities, vocational and technical institutions, local businesses and branches of the military, including:

Elk Grove -- Everyone's Invited -- Entertainment, Food, Raffles, Games and BINGO for Grandma create family fun beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 8720 Florin Road, 95828.

Visit www.stpaul-florin.org for complete details about Sunday's Family Fun Festival, along with valuable church programs such as pre-marriage counseling and stewardship. Saturday evening, Sept. 14, a Spaghetti Feed sponsored by the Knights of Columbus is its annual fundraiser at St. Paul.

Tickets are $15 each or the bargain price of $25 for two tickets.

The excitement is on the track for September 6th-8th with fun for all ages....including drag racing, grudge racing, souvenirs, vendor alley, the Kingdon Raceway History Museum, and more....  You can also catch "THE BEAST" jet dragster as well as car show both Saturday and Sunday.  Event benefits the "Welcome Home Heroes" and the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Air Posse.  Support our local military families by donating to the National Guard's canned food drive: you will receive $1 off admission for each can...up to 5.

With 'Breakfast in My Neighborhood' News10 viewers get a chance to decide where News10 Good Morning co-anchor Dan Elliott will be live during the following Friday's 5 and 6 a.m. newscasts.

Voting began last Friday morning Aug. 23 and ended Tuesday Aug. 27 at 6 p.m.

The winner will be announced Wednesday Aug. 28 on News10 Good Morning.
