Elk Grove’s premier summer event, The Strauss Festival, gets underway this week at Elk Grove Regional Park……..This will be the 25th production with the milestone reflected with this year’s theme of “Strauss Goes Silver”………Both current and former festival dancers will honor the creator of the festival, Iris Zimbleman, beginning Thursday night……….The festival will run Thursday through Sunday with the prelude getting underway at 7:30pm and the actual dance production beginning at 8:15……The event is free however you will have to pay to park-----$10 per car and $30 for busses----keep in mind the money goes directly to the Strauss Festival to help cover costs-----again, it all begins Thursday night at the park.
