Sentencing For Darrell DeWitt | Life

Sentencing has been handed down for 20 year old Elk Grove resident Darrell Alvin DeWitt………..he was found guilty of killing his father back in September 2011 following an argument----he used a double bladed axe as the murder weapon and afterwards he stayed in the apartment and partied for almost 30 hours before admitting the crime to his brother……When police arrived they found DeWitt had stabbed himself several times perhaps in an effort to confuse investigators-----it didn’t work……..DeWitt waived his right to a trial by jury and was found guilty of premeditated and deliberated murder by Judge Marjorie Koller-------He’s been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison
