UPDATE: At-risk Elk Grove teen found safe
ELK GROVE, CA - After missing for nearly six hours, an Elk Grove teen was found safe.
Dominic Zanartu, 13, was last seen at Harriet Eddy Middle School, on the 9300 block of Soaring Oaks Drive, around 3:15 p.m., Elk Grove police Officer Chris Trim said.
Zanartu is considered at-risk because he has autism.
Trim said Zanartu was apparently upset because he knew his T.V. and computer privileges would be taken away for a poor progress report.
Zanartu was found at the AM/PM gas station on Grantline Road safe and was returned home to his family.
