Dave McDonald at Add Performance Auto Care in Gold River Solves Mystery | Fun
Dave McDonald isn't afraid of ghosts, which was fortunate for me when my car's electrical system suddenly zapped out after I went through the haunted restaurant tour at Woodbridge Crossing in Lodi on Thursday. News10 contributing bloggers enjoyed a delicious lunch at Woodbridge Crossing and were then enticed by ghost stories about the haunting of the restaurant's basement, which long ago was the local jail.
Tales were told to us while we toured the eerie old basement about voices recorded with special equipment by amateur "ghost hunters." Yet, I heard nothing and was eager to to visit Dancing Fox Winery for a taste of excellent wines. I parted company with my blogging News10 associates and beat feet to my car, eager for a wine tasting in downtown Lodi. Upon starting my car, an ominous "pop" zapped out my radio -- all I heard was "white noise," just like in the movie "Poltergeist." Yet, nothing stopped me from zipping over to Dancing Fox Winery for a quick tasting of its recently released "Cherry Blossom" wine!
Afterwards, I called Dave McDonald at Add Performance Auto Care in Gold River asserting that ghosts at Woodbridge Crossing Restaurant jinxed my car for scoffing at their haunting. Being a wizard at auto care, Dave asked, "Were you charging your cellphone in the cigarette lighter while blasting the radio when it zapped out?" Dave is also clairvoyant. Indeed, his diagnosis solved the mystery by replacing a $2 fuse. No ghosts... No haunting... Just too much stress on my car's electrical circuit. When your car needs a mechanical wizard (who may be clairvoyant), contact Dave McDonald at: AddPerformance@yahoo.com especially to solve a mystery!
