Review: Pho Lotus Vietnamese Restaurant
Review by Ron Ohta, www.elkgrovemonthly.com
Most diners are probably familiar with Pho (pronounced fah), which is a Vietnamese noodle soup, usually served with beef or chicken. The soup includes noodles made from rice and is often served with basil, lime, bean sprouts, and peppers that are added to the soup by the consumer.
Pho Lotus has been serving Vietnamese cuisine for just about 3 years and is located in the Kohl’s shopping center on the corner of Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road.
We arrived late in the evening on a Monday, and the restaurant was fairly busy. The interior décor is very nice with bamboo wall coverings and colorful wall paintings. We were politely greeted and promptly seated.
